Tender Administrator Role Description

Reporting to the Head of Tender Centre, the successful candidates will be based in Midrand and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the Tender Office mailbox, ensuring all emails are read, actioned, and responded to
  • Recieving tenders from internal and external parties, reviewing tenders, and when qualified adding it to the Tender Tracker
  • Keeping track of closing dates on tenders and ensure all tender closing times are met 
  • Co-ordinating all the responses from vendors and internal product teams, compiling a complete bid pack for tender response to resellers
  • Assist with tender related queries from external and internal parties fro Pinnacle South Africa 
  • Assist with Pinnacle Company Letter as and when required 
  • Regular training on Pinnacle Brands and Products 
  • Attend weekly tender meetings, as well as all tender related meetings when required 
  • Do weekly tender reports and communicate with all parties where required
  • Ad Hoc requests from the business and/or Pinnacle management relating to tenders 
  • Assist with physical bib submissions, including the administrative duties, completing tender submission documents, printing, binding
  • Regular engagement with customers, internal parties, and vendors

  • Matric with mathematics is essential, as well relevant Tertiary Qualification within Sales and/or Marketing
  • A minimum of one to three (1 - 3) years’ ICT industry experience
  • Experience working with customer in a supporting role in the ICT industry 
  • Experience working Public Sector
  • Excellent customer engagement and relationship building skills
  • Own transport and valid driver’s license 
  • Good time management and well organized i.e. deadline driven, able to plan and prioritize a high workload 
  • Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
